DESCRIPTION
Carré Copenhagen was started by Shiri Haugbøl in 1991 with a desire to create an Aladdin's Cave in which women succumb to an extravaganza of jewellery. In this cave they should be able to find classic jewellery designs along side unusual and exiting pieces of jewellery. Every piece is created on the basis of ancient techniques, from antiquity up until the 19th century. The jewellery consists of pure silver and gold, gemstones and pearls in a rich variety of cuts. The pieces are first and foremost handmade, being both delicate and fragile. Carre Copenhagen has three own shops in Denmark. Here, the visitor encounters a rush of gold, silver and gemstones in a spectacular setting. Carré Copenhagen is furthermore sold through selected shops in Denmark and abroad, and the brand is found in most European countries as well as in Japan.
