Group 3 Aviation is an FAA approved flight training facility and an FAA approved Part 135 executive charter service. Our Los Angeles helicopter school offers a wide variety of helicopter and airplane services, which include flight training in Schweizer 300 CBi's, Robinson R22's and R44's, Cessna 152's and 172's.

Our fleet of Helicopters and airplanes is maintained by the finest, most experienced rotorcraft and fixed wing mechanics in the industry.

We also offer various commercial aerial services for the photo and motion picture industries, such as aerial photography, aerial location scouting and a variety of aircraft for use on-camera.

In addition, Group 3 Aviation is approved by I.C.E. to register non-immigrant students that have chosen us for primary and/or advanced flight training services under the M-1 visa.

Group 3's Los Angeles helicopter and pilot school is located in southern California's Van Nuys Airport (VNY) in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. The benefits of being based here are numerous. Because of our excellent weather, flights are rarely grounded.

We are in close proximity to many other Southern California airports, only minutes from Los Angeles, Santa Monica Airport, LAX, Burbank Airport, and Catalina Island Airport to name just a few popular helicopter charter pick up or drop off destinations.

Van Nuys airport is the busiest General Aviation Airport in the world and the hub of General Aviation for all of Southern California.
