The stunning gown Natalie Portman wore to the Oscar's last Sunday, a 1954 Christian Dior Haute Couture silk gown from 1stdibs.com sold on Monday 5 March for a record $50,000 to a private English couture collector in London.
She found it on 1stdibs.com (an online resource) and bought it from 1stdibs.com’s vintage couture dealer, RARE Vintage, in New York City.
