Hamptons Canine Concierge was created by Dr. Cindy Bressler and Edward Alava. Dr. Bressler is a House Call Veterinarian who has been treating Hampton’s dogs since the summer of 2004. Dr. Bressler teamed up with Edward Alava, owner of Manhattan's Upper East Side dog boutique and spa, The DOG Store, to create a canine-only luxury concierge company, which will provide all things needed for the best dog days of summer.
Dr. Cindy Bressler, who has been featured in Hamptons magazine, New York Magazine, and other major publications, and who appeared on The Real Housewives of New York City and Animal Planet, has been providing pets with concierge veterinary care in the Hamptons and NYC. Available 24/7 for routine care and emergencies, Dr. Bressler travels to clients’ homes to treat pets in the middle of the night—from Southampton to Montauk--so pet-owners don't have to trek to the emergency hospital in Riverhead. She is the only doctor that provides in-home hospitalization for pets. Dr. Bressler ensures that her clients stay healthy all summer. She is known for her compassionate care and her love of animals.
Edward Alava opened The DOG Store in early 2009 targeting an upscale clientele. He offers grooming services and a variety of dog food products and accessories, as well as a line of chic bags. He has exclusive relationships with the Waldorf Astoria and Regency Hotels, both pet-friendly hotels. His clients are amongst the “who’s who” of the world, from well-known celebrities and international royalty, to the financial and business movers and shakers of Manhattan. Alava will be offering in-home grooming, styling and spa services for dogs as well as providing luxury accommodations for Hamptons dogs.
